Irsah Shahzad, LMSW

Do you feel overwhelmed by your thoughts, emotions, or life in general? Maybe you’re carrying anxiety, sadness, or painful experiences that feel hard to manage on your own. Many people come to therapy when they feel stuck, exhausted, or unsure how to move forward—but still hopeful that things can get better. My approach as a therapist is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that healing happens through connection, safety, and understanding. I provide culturally sensitive care that honors each person’s identity, background, and lived experience, including individuals from BIPOC communities.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and emotional distress. My goal is to provide a calm, supportive space where you can slow things down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

Therapy can feel intimidating at first, especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed. I aim to make the process feel as safe, supportive, and approachable as possible so you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we work toward building stability, clarity, and a greater sense of emotional balance in your life.
