Emily L Willms, LMSW
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself and speaking openly. I work with children, adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. Whether you’re adjusting to college, managing relationship challenges, stepping into caregiving roles or just feeling overwhelmed and stuck, I provide a supportive space to help you process and move forward.
I use a strengths-based approach and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques to help you develop insight, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build effective coping skills. My goal is to help you not only manage current challenges but also feel more confident in handling future ones.
Together, we will create realistic, personalized strategies that align with your goals and values. I aim to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and in control as you navigate life’s challenges. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood
