FOUNDER, THERAPIST
Ayse Kanca, LCSW
I chose the Olive Tree name because it is especially meaningful to me. It symbolizes our roots, our ancestry, origins, and the traces we carry within our genes and culture. Some of these patterns can be honored, while others can be gently explored and released as we work toward healing generational patterns and trauma that may still be present.
My style as a therapist is calm, friendly, attentive, and explorative. I strive to create a safe and authentic environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions while working toward their therapeutic and personal goals, as well as improving their overall well-being. Whether you’re feeling anxious, stressed, depressed, experiencing panic attacks, or navigating a unique challenge.
I tailor the therapeutic approach and pace to each individual, working collaboratively to meet your goals. I take an integrative and eclectic approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, ERP, mindfulness, and other therapeutic models based on each client’s needs. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults, and support individuals with anxiety, depression, OCD, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, parenting, and perinatal and postpartum issues, among others.
I am here not only to listen, but to help you think outside the box, explore deeper self-understanding, and approach your inner world with love and compassion. My goal is to guide you in your daily life and help you build the tools you need to move forward with clarity and confidence.
